About Us:

Have you every visited someone's home and been told "Make Your Selves At Home" well here in the United Arab Emirates this that saying is well practiced and at Dahbian Equestrian Club this is out motto.

Tina Al Qubaisi, a British expat who fell in love with the middle East and especially the Gulf states arrives in this region at the young age of 12 Years Old.  As the family followed her fathers career path, Tina started a whole new chapter in her life that is still being lived out.

Firstly living In Qatar, Tina successfully finished her school studies and Jumped straight in to a Life of Loving Horses.  Always drawn to anywhere with these majestic animals, Tina quickly found a small job Helping in a local stables after work.  She learnt many aspects of Horse care and stable management and even had some chances to teach beginners.

Tina was then married and started a family and with three young children in tow and a house to run she still found time to visit the stables and help out.

15 Years ago, Tina and her family moved to the United Arab Emirates.  After some time Tina began to feel the loss of not being at the stables anymore.  Her children were now older and her youngest, her only Daughter, started to show interest in the same passion that captured her mother long ago.

So with out much convincing,Tina bought Her daughter a Horse.  This Horse was called Shams, and is still with Tina to this day.  Living in Khalifa A in Abu Dhabi, Tina built grand stables in her garden for Sham's to live and a small enclosed area for her daughter to ride. Word quickly got around Khalifa A and before long there was a line of young Equestrian Enthusiasts lined up outside asking for riding lessons.

Knowing how she felt about horses as a child, tina was reluctant to turn anyone away from having the chance to learn to ride and she knew that Sham's could not work as many hours to accommodate that many children, so Tina quickly went off to buy some more horses.

Dhabian was the second horse that Tina Bought, but she had fallen in Love with him before she had even got him home and decided that He would be her horse. Hence the name Dhabian Equestrian Club.

Tina managed to get more horses as the interest got more and finally had to move to a smaller villa with a bigger garden in Khalifa B, she now had 11 Horses living in her Garden in Khalifa B.  As the Students kept growing Tina quickly realized that she was running out of space and moved the Horses to a farm land in Al Shahama, and so was born Dhabian Equestrian Club.

Since opening Tina has now got 37 horses and 180 + registered clients and has added an Equine rescue center and continues to take in any other animal in need.
